Your natural path to a healthy balance

"Health is not just absence of disease, it's a dynamic transformation connected to what is happening in our bodies, minds and environment.  Each of us defines that in our own special way; that is why finding an individual's balance towards his or her optimal health is what I strive to do. I look forward to working with you and am honoured to be part of your journey towards optimal wellness."

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Doctors treat the whole person, investigating how multiple factors influence an individual's health and well-being. By identifying and treating root causes, the intent is to restore optimal function when possible, and not only manage symptoms. Naturopathic medicine emphasizes prevention, and leverages the body's own abilities to achieve wellness; the healing power of nature.  How is this accomplished? First, by doing no harm. The principles of naturopathic medicine encourage NDs to be educators, to empower and support individuals in their own understanding of their health and goals, and Dr. Taylor is passionate about this cooperative role of informed decision-making. These guiding principles are the distinguishing features of the profession.

"The best six doctors anywhere

And no one can deny it

Are sunshine, water, rest, and air

Exercise and diet.

These six will gladly you attend

if only you are willing

Your mind they'll ease

Your will they'll mend

And charge you not a shilling".

Nursery rhyme quoted by Wayne Fields,

What the River Knows, 1990
