Fatigue

What causes fatigue? There may be many factors, ranging from deficiencies (Yokoi and Konomi, 2017), (Silverstein et al., 2022), (Tardy et al., 2020), (Devulapalli 2025), poor sleep, (Shah et al., 2025), to more serious conditions. Identifying the causes and understanding why they contribute to being tired, we will design a plan together that resonates with you. There are tools to improve energy in the short term and long term, regardless of the causes.

Digestion

Imbalanced digestion can present as heartburn, bloating or more serious symptoms. Constipation (Diaz et al., 2023)(Rao et al., 2022),  loose stools (Nemeth and Pfleghaar, 2022)  or pain (Viniol et al., 2014)  may be common, though it may also be a message from your body. Your digestive system does much more than break down food. There are elaborate connections between the digestive, immune (Shao et al., 2023) and nervous systems (Pray, 2015).

Sleep

Sleep influences our overall health. Insomnia can involve not just trouble falling asleep but staying asleep. Uncovering what may be preventing a restful night, and what other factors may contribute will have more successful results.  Disruptive sleep may have many causes and also poor outcomes (Xu et al., 2020), (Chinvarak  et al., 2025), (Palagini et al., 2024).

Immunity

The immune system is complex. Besides protecting your body from harm, it is in constant communication with other systems of the body (Daëron, 2022), (Lin et al., 2019), (Zheng et al., 2020), (Shao et al. 2023) Disrupted immune function (Long et al., 2023)(Akbarzadeh et al.,  2025), (Cooper and Good-Jacobson, 2020), can range from allergies, autoimmune disorders, to chronic or recurring infections, mast cell activation syndrome (Özdemir  et al., 2024) (MCAS), among many other conditions. Some individuals may react to mold or mycotoxins (Kraft  et al., 2021) or everyday items.

Mental health

Supporting mental health is a journey. This path can be illuminating, as some mental health states and psychiatric conditions can be caused by infections (Bransfield et al., 2023), physical trauma (Howlett et al., 2022), environmental factors (Schmidt 2007), (Basu and Banerjee 2020), (Rasool  et al., 2021) hormones (Vries  et al., 2022), poor nutrition (Li  et al., 2020), (ZieliÅ„ska et al., 2023) among other causes (Khan et al., 2023). Treating the whole person empowers each individual with tools and knowledge towards reaching health goals.

Pain and neurological conditions

Pain is a signal the body uses to indicate an imbalance, injury, threat or harm. Pain and the nervous system are interrelated (Garland 2013),  and may include conditions ranging from headaches to cerebrovascular disorders to neurodegenerative disorders (Gadhave et al., 2024). There are other systems that interact with the nervous system in acute and chronic pain (Ren and Dubner 2010). Neurological conditions may be present without pain.  With the growing burden of disability due to neurological disorders and aging (Feigin et al., 2020), strategies for prevention and early treatment are crucial.
